We care more about product quality, professionalism, and commitment than your current revenue. During the pilot we accept only 10 merchants, so we prioritize stores where a structured partnership can make a meaningful difference.
Professionals with demonstrable skills in areas such as digital marketing, paid advertising, email marketing, SEO, content, video editing, graphic design, copywriting, Shopify development, store optimization, customer support, or growth strategy. You'll need a portfolio or work samples, professional references, and the availability to commit consistently to a partnership.
Matching is done by our team, by hand. We look at the merchant's growth challenge, product category, and goals, then pair them with partners whose skills, experience, and working style genuinely fit. Both sides review the proposed match before anything is signed. No one is ever forced into a partnership.
Merchants are expected to be responsive, provide store access as agreed, and act on the partnership plan. Growth Partners are expected to deliver their agreed contribution consistently and communicate professionally. Both parties commit to the milestone reviews defined in the partnership agreement.
It varies by agreement, but expect consistent weekly involvement rather than sporadic bursts. Growth Partners typically commit a defined number of hours per week; merchants should plan for regular communication and timely decisions. The exact commitment is written into every agreement before it starts.
Each partnership defines its own structure in the agreement, typically combining a reduced or deferred upfront component with success-linked terms, so that Growth Partners share in the results they help create. NLNK helps both sides agree on terms that are fair, sustainable, and fully transparent. We never impose a one-size-fits-all model.
Every application is read personally by the NLNK team. We review stores, portfolios, references, and goals, and we often follow up with a short conversation before making a decision. Expect a response within five to ten business days. We'd rather take longer and get the cohort right than rush acceptances.
The founding pilot runs for 90 days with structured reviews at day 30, 60, and 90. Successful partnerships are encouraged to continue on renewed terms afterwards. NLNK is built for long-term relationships, and the pilot is designed to be the beginning, not the whole story.
NLNK acts as a neutral facilitator. Issues are raised at milestone reviews or directly with your NLNK contact, and we work with both sides on a resolution plan. If a partnership genuinely can't be repaired, the agreement defines a fair, structured wind-down, and where appropriate, we look at re-matching.

Yes. Confidentiality obligations are built into every partnership agreement. Growth Partners may not share merchant data, strategies, or performance figures externally, and merchants extend the same respect to partner methods and materials.
Each agreement defines its own success metrics upfront, for example revenue growth, conversion rate, traffic quality, email performance, or store improvements. Progress against these metrics is assessed honestly at every milestone review. We insist on realistic targets: no partnership is built on hype.
All members commit to professional conduct, honest reporting, respect for confidentiality, and ethical marketing practices. Attempting to circumvent NLNK's process, misrepresenting results, or treating counterparties unprofessionally are grounds for removal from the network.
A live Shopify store with real products, functioning checkout, and legitimate fulfilment. The store should represent a genuine business, not a test project or an untested idea. We also look for founders who can dedicate time to the partnership and make decisions promptly.
Yes. After the 90-day pilot we plan to expand the network gradually, informed by what the founding cohort teaches us. Pilot participants help shape that future and will have priority standing as NLNK grows. Applicants not selected for the pilot remain in consideration for the next intake.
